Delegation of the Institute of Comparative Law Conducts Working Visit to the Faculty of Law, University of Niš

On May 14th, representatives of the Institute of Comparative Law visited Niš, where they held a significant meeting with the leadership of the Faculty of Law, a renowned institution of higher education and research. The Institute’s delegation was led by the Acting Director, Dr. Miloš Stanić, Senior Research Fellow, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Jelena Vukadinović Marković, Senior Research Fellow, and Milena Momčilov, Research Assistant.

The hosts extended an exceptionally warm welcome to our colleagues, and the discussions were held in an atmosphere of mutual respect and professional camaraderie. Representing the Faculty of Law were the Dean, Prof. Dr. Predrag Cvetković, Prof. Dr. Marija Ignjatović, Head of the Center for Legal and Social Research, and Prof. Dr. Anđelija Tasić.

The primary focus of the meeting was the strategic deepening of the cooperation between the two institutions. The participants explored opportunities for the joint publication of scientific papers in prestigious journals published by both the Institute and the Faculty, aimed at further enhancing the visibility of research outputs from both organizations. Furthermore, the meeting resulted in an agreement to initiate joint scientific events and to pursue more intensive participation in project activities at both national and international levels.

It was collectively assessed that there is immense potential for further synergy, and the agreements reached serve as a solid foundation for future endeavours. The Institute expresses its sincere gratitude to our colleagues at the Faculty of Law for their warm hospitality and looks forward to the imminent realization of the planned activities, which will significantly contribute to the advancement of legal thought and the academic community.
