On February 21, 2023, the "Judicial Reform Conference" organized by the Council of Europe and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia was held in the "Hyatt Regency" hotel. The reason for holding this event is the adoption of five new judicial laws which, at this stage, complete the reform process. About what has been done, as well as what still needs to be done on the legal and non-legal level in order to make the Serbian judiciary as fair and efficient as possible, numerous distinguished speakers expressed their opinion. One of the speakers was the research fellow of the Institute for Comparative Law, Doc. Dr. Miroslav Đorđević, whose presentation was about changing the legal culture at law faculties and improving the formal education of future holders of judicial functions.

On February 21, 2023, a delegation from the Institute of Comparative Law visited the Institute of Physics, the first institute of national importance in the Republic of Serbia. At the meeting, the possibilities and ways of future scientific and professional cooperation between the two institutes, as well as other activities that can have scientific transdisciplinary potential and contribute to mutual reference and cooperation of natural and social sciences were discussed. At the end of the meeting, the directors of both Institutes solemnly signed the Agreement on Scientific and Professional Cooperation, as an umbrella act for all future activities that the two institutions and researchers will jointly undertake.

Ana Zdravković, Research Assistant at the Institute of Comparative Law, participated in the Conference on "Determinacy and Law", that was organized on February 17th, 2023 by the Lisbon Legal Theory Group (https://www.lxltg.com) at the Faculty of Law University of Lisbon, as a commentator of the paper "Indeterminacy, Normativity and Soft International Law", presented by Prof. Miodrag Jovanović. The event gathered scholars from various academic institutions and universities, such as Oxford University, University of Kent, University of Girona and University of Surrey.
