On December 27, 2022, the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia held a public hearing on a set of new judicial laws. Research fellow of the Institute of Comparative Law, Doc. Dr. Miroslav Đorđević (who is also a member of the Working group for prosecutorial laws) addressed the audience, pointing out several important aspects of improving the position of public prosecutors in Serbia. In addition to numerous judges, public prosecutors, court presidents, MPs and scientists, the gathering was attended by the Minister of Justice Maja Popović, the President of the Supreme Court of Cassation Jasmina Vasović, the Republic Public Prosecutor Zagorka Dolovac and others.
