Regional Law Review 2026

The seventh Regional Law Review conference will be held on 7–8 May at the Institute of Comparative Law. At the conference, legal scholars from several countries will present their research on current issues in the field of law in the Balkan region and beyond. In addition to participants from Serbia, scholars from Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, North Macedonia, Brazil, and South Africa are expected to attend.

The conference will be held in a hybrid format – in person at the premises of the Institute of Comparative Law and online via the Zoom platform.

The conference will be organized into four sessions: AI Technologies and Human Rights in a Changing World; Human Rights; New Technologies; and Human Rights, Solidarity, and Law.

The event will be open to the interested professional public. If you would like to attend, please register at a.mihajlovic@iup.rs. Applications are open until 6 May. The official language of the conference is English and translation into other languages ​​will not be provided.
