Conference “Common (and Collective) Property”

We are pleased to inform you that on Wednesday, 26 June 2024 an international scientific conference shall be organized by the Institute of Comparative Law of Belgrade, in partnership with the Department of Law of the University of Naples “Federico II”, on the topic of the collective and common property, and it’s functionalities. The particular attention will be dedicated to the functionalization of the collective and common property in historical perspective, from roman and byzantine, across medieval Serbian law, to modern period, but the topic of the conference also includes various aspects of contemporary regulation and perspectives of future development in the comparative law. The topic of the conference does not include the field of the real rights only, but also extends to other fields of law, including, but not limiting to, constitutional, administrative, penal and procedural protection of the collective and common property. This conference is a part of an international scientific project based on an agreement of collaboration between the Institute of Comparative Law of Belgrade and the Department of Law of the University of Naples “Federico II” and is the first of the series of the annual conferences that are planned to be held in next five years. The conference will be held in the seat of the Institute of Comparative Law, Terazije 41, Belgrade. The working language of the conference is English.
