REGIONAL LAW REVIEW
– INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE –
After carefully considering the epidemiological situation in the Republic of Serbia and the region, we decided to hold the RLR conference, which was scheduled for October 16-17, 2020, in an online format. The reason for this decision was primarily unfavorable epidemiological forecast for the fall, as well as the inability of a number of colleagues from abroad to join us. We hope that next year we will be able to organize a new Conference in the way we originally planned and to host you all in Sombor.
We will send program and detailed instructions on how to join online Conference to all participants in a timely manner, as well as post it on our website. In the meantime, we remind you that the deadline for submitting research papers is September 10, 2020. The date of the online conference is October 16. The collection of papers will be published as planned in printed and electronic form at the end of 2020 or the beginning of 2021.
Stay safe and take care!
RLR Organizing Committee
Institute of Comparative Law, in cooperation with Faculty of Law Osijek (Croatia) and Faculty of Law Pecs (Hungary) has initiated a new international conference, Regional Law Review. The conference is devoted to topical legal issues in the region of the Balkans and Southeastern Europe.
The conference offers a forum for scholars who research current topics in their countries, to foster a discussion on topical issues, achievements and tendencies in the development of legal science and to assert, through a critical review, the position the state of affairs in a particular state or in the entire region relative to European and global standards, with a view to future developments.
We aspire for our endeavor to be recognized as a current, relevant and conducive for regional cooperation in the area of legal science.
The conference will consist of two sections: Public Law Section and Private Law Section. Authors are free to choose a specific topic of their interest within one of the two modules.
Working language of the conference is English. It is expected that we will have participants from the region (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Hungary, Romania) as well as from other European countries (Italy, Slovakia, Austria, Letonia, Russia).
There is no participation fee for the conference.
After the paper has been accepted for the conference, the author can choose whether to participate in the conference or have the paper printed without being presented at the conference.
All accepted papers shall be published in late 2020 and first half of 2021 in two issues, as per the appropriate conference module.
